In this context of pure industrial architecture, marked by concrete, glass and iron, the Foscarini lamps – with their stories and their unmistakable personality – are a truly natural fit. In addition to adorning the interiors, they play a starring role outside too – which includes an indoor garden and an external courtyard – helping to define the magical and familiar atmosphere of this house open to hospitality and catering.

Warm light and slender white volumes characterise the lighting design choices of this villa in Piedmont, both indoors and outdoors. Havana outdoor lamps, repeated across the many terraces, play a dual role: they are focus points with warm and welcoming lighting for the inhabitants, generating a distinctive style and a remarkable visual impact in the overall view of the outdoor space. The project continuity in the choice of slender volumes is reflected internally with the indoor version of the Havana suspension lamp in the sleeping quarters and with the Tress suspension lamp over the dining table.

The versatile outdoor collection of Foscarini lamps characterised the splendid outdoor spaces of the Venice Arsenale during the Art and Architecture Biennali from 2008 to 2014. Havana, with its distinctive cigar shape and soft light, creates delightful scenes through the repetition of volume; Solar, with its dual function, becomes a contemporary hearth that invites you to get together and chat out in the open air; Gregg Outdoor, with its pleasantly organic shape, allows you to create evocative compositions and magical atmospheres.

The industrial architecture of the Le Bombarde restaurant, which is part of the Venice Arsenale buildings, was transformed to take on a new personality with various Foscarini lamps during the Art and Architecture Biennali from 2008 to 2014. Featuring exposed bricks and iron elements, the industrial space takes on a transformist accent: playful and lively with Uto, more refined and ethereal with the volumes of Gregg and Havana.

The Gregg lamps blend in harmoniously with the white of the hotel’s outdoor communal areas, formerly a convent. Cosy, strategically placed gazebos create more private and intimate spaces in the large open space. Within these islands, the organic and soft shapes of the Gregg outdoor lamps, arranged in various sizes and heights, contribute to decorating, lighting and softening the clean-cut architecture and harsh geometry of the square.
