White surfaces, semi-transparent polycarbonate panels and colourful accents distinguish CWITM’s Beijing office, located in an old textile factory within a creative complex. The Uto and Twiggy lamps stand out as key features, introducing touches of colour into the neutral setting and matching the colour palette selected by the designer.

In this context of pure industrial architecture, marked by concrete, glass and iron, the Foscarini lamps – with their stories and their unmistakable personality – are a truly natural fit. In addition to adorning the interiors, they play a starring role outside too – which includes an indoor garden and an external courtyard – helping to define the magical and familiar atmosphere of this house open to hospitality and catering.

A blue bathroom, inspired by the Caribbean Sea, breaks the linearity of the space where black and white prevail. The ceiling version of the iconic Twiggy lamp matches the neutral tones of the furniture and stands out on the colourful wall. Brilliantly remedying the lack of space for a floor lamp, the Twiggy ceiling lamp offers flexibility by rotating the offset lighting device by 330°, allowing you easily to adapt the light to alternative arrangements of the furniture in the room.

The sponsorship of the Venice Biennale from 2008 to 2015 was an opportunity to explore the versatility of the Foscarini collection, also in responding to the needs of large settings. In the Biennale bookshop, the lamps generated a dynamic and contemporary personality for the industrial architecture of the Arsenale spaces, filling the heights with compositions that play on repetition and modularity. Plass, with its large transparent volume, can convey presence and lightness all in one, while the de-structured volume of Big Bang – within the Foscarini Evolution project – creates unique luminous architectures, which expand its already accentuated scenic value. In the consultation and exhibition areas, Twiggy and Tuareg contribute to creating a more intimate and private atmosphere, perfect for spaces for reflection.

The clean-cut shape and the warmth of the wood make Troag multifarious and suitable for both domestic and working environments. The superior light performance levels make it the perfect choice for Foscarini’s HQ offices, where the suspension lamps light the desks. In common areas, light decorates with dramatic cluster compositions of Buds, Chouchin, and Plass—or on the wall with Bahia and Bahia Mini. The first floor, renovated in 2023 on a project by Massimo Curzi, integrates elements of urban and natural inspiration, emphasizing natural lighting. The dark tone of the circulation spaces enhances the color of the internal green islands, while the iconic Twiggy add vibrancy with their colors. In meeting rooms, Spokes plays an essential role, with its direct illumination on the table top while simultaneously diffusing a pleasant ambient light upwards.

The spacious lobby of this hotel, conceived as a multifunctional space that also hosts piano concerts, becomes welcoming and intimate thanks to the strategic arrangement of the Twiggy lamps. The virtually non-existent high ceiling makes the space vast and impressive; the Twiggy floor arc lamps, with their offset lighting device, succeed in outlining more intimate and private spaces above each table, making the setting welcoming and user-friendly. The choice of versions in black, in keeping with the dark hues of the oak wood slats and tables, creates a charming contrast with the neutral colours of the walls and fabrics.

In the restaurant of the Palazzo Branca Doria in Genoa, Twiggy, with its subtle and flexible design, adds character without compromising the integrity of the sixteenth-century building. While expertly providing both direct and indirect lighting, Twiggy focuses the light on the table while simultaneously revealing the beauty of the frescoed vaults with its diffused up light. Even the sophisticated and delicate choice of colour, in keeping with the design, enhances the walls and ceilings frescoed by Bernardo Strozzi.

At Google’s offices in Zurich, Foscarini lamps blend in seamlessly with an informal and dynamic setting characterised by colourful furnishings, where round volumes and square silhouettes come together. The Gregg suspension lamps, uniquely positioned in the reception area, play with different sizes and heights, standing out with their characteristic organic white volume against the concrete wall that serves as the backdrop to the reception.
