The craft-based tradition of blown glass has been reinterpreted, using a contemporary material and a modern process: rotationally-moulded transparent polycarbonate. Technology which lends the Plass table and suspension lamp irregularities that recall Venetian pearls.

“I started with the sphere, which I “squashed” slightly, giving the surface movement by engraving it a lot like grinding. A reminder of the effects of Venetian pearls of glass, also known as ‘seedbeads”, traditionally hand-engraved.”
