Jozeph Forakis
A young and slender silhouette recalling the shape of a cigar, hence the name, its soft light and the ease with which it blends in with any setting, have made the Havana lamp an extremely successful designer model. It is part of the permanent collection on exhibit at the New York MoMA.
It has a diffuser comprising four segments attached by small metal circles, with empty spaces that fill with light when the lamp is on. In the outdoor version, it has a single body, with markings that recall the division into segments of the indoor model.
