The desire to talk about light by starting with those who experience inside their most personal space: the home
VITE is a project that that unfolds in a narrative of images, videos and words and narrates the emotion and atmosphere that a Foscarini lamp can bring to a real home, inhabited by real people. Homes and lives illuminated by light, glimpses into very personal settings, also imperfect precisely because they are real, in which our lamps would enter and become part of. Lamps that are made to shed light, but above all to be lifelong companions.

Two photographic books that explore light, people, and life stories. The result of a journey, begun in 2019, which led us to a variety of locations and latitudes, revealing a different light and, alongside it, diverse cultures of living.
«Every time the door of one of these lives I have portrayed was opened, over these months, I searched for a Sunday, 40 years ago, for the wonder of that particular light I experienced when I was 6 years old, in a totally new house, with the scent of fresh paint to welcome us, and the sounds arriving from upstairs. It was the light I imagined crossing the life of the people who lived up there».
